ISLAND

Lots of lush forest and rainforest. The shores support Magellanic Plover, while the Cocoi Heron lives on the river. The warblers and lark also have a small range, the warblers in heath, and the Lark in Acacia grassland. The Crested Fireback, Blue-headed Quail-dove and Bananal Antbird- watch your step in the rainforest. The Red-fronted Macaw , the Scissor-tailed Hummingbird and the Crested Fireback add a splash of rainbow. It is a thrill to go in Spring. Plovers are nesting and orioles call. The Rufous-necked Hornbills are the silly duffers of the rainforest - their bills are as big as... . Downy Woodpeckers possibly share the Most Widespread award with Palm Warblers and Blue Tits. This island is called Plover Island.
